About Schoph
Born in Yorkshire in 1979, Schoph Schofield is an artist in a continuous state of creation. Known as 'Schoph', the artist's dynamic and brooding paintings are at once beautiful and dark. An uncompromising and bold execution capture an energy and depth.
Schoph has exhibited internationally and extensively in the United States, taking in New York, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Seattle, San Diego and Jackson Hole. He now divides his time between Yorkshire and the US and was commissioned by Michael O'Hare to create murals and paintings for Michael's Michelin-starred restaurant The Man Behind The Curtain, which has re-ignited Schoph's relationship with his native Northern England.
