Who is Eddie Lock?
Eddie Lock owned two very successful record shops in the late 1980's called Plastic Surgery in Kent and sold them before the millennium and digital boom. He then became a successful producer and DJ'd all over the world including Ibiza where he played all the legendary super clubs. Eddie achieved worldwide chart success and collaborated with many artists. He managed Goldie MBE for eight years and was instrumental in him being awarded his MBE. Eddie also managed and was the agent for Sex Pistols artist Jamie Reid.
Eddie now curates art and memorabilia all over the world. Apart from his wonderful family and lovely wife the other love of his life is collecting very rare Punk memorabilia and 7" records.
Eddie has been curating cutting edge and modern contemporary art and memorabilia exhibitions for over 14 years in many prestigious venues including London's Cafe Royal, The Ivy and Sheridan's of London. Having exhibited works from both hugely prolific and emerging artists, which include The Connor Brothers, David Kim Whittaker, Jamie Reid, Banksy, Goldie, Illuminati Neon and Mal-One to mention just a few.
Over the years Eddie and the Eddie Lock Gallery has supported the work of a number of charities including Hepatitis C Trust, Nordoff Robbins, ART4PEACE and most recently Mind and CALM.
